Zulu 7u181 crashes when starting JBoss AS 7.1.1

On Windows 2012 R2, Zulu 7u181 crashes when starting JBoss AS 7.1.1.
The problem is not reproduced with :

  • Zulu 7u161 (Windows 2012 R2)
  • Zulu 7u171 (Windows 2012 R2)
  • Oracle JDK 7u181 (Windows 2012 R2)
  • OpenJDK 7u181 (CentOS 7)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download and unzip http://download.jboss.org/jbossas/7.1/jboss-as-7.1.1.Final/jboss-as-7.1.1.Final.zip
2. Replace jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\jboss-modules.jar (1.1.1.GA) with http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/jboss/modules/jboss-modules/1.1.5.GA/jboss-modules-1.1.5.GA.jar [1]
3. Edit jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\bin\standalone.conf.bat and set JAVA_HOME to your Zulu 7u181 x64 directory
4. Run standalone.bat

EXPECTED RESULT
JBoss AS 7.1.1 starts and listens on 127.0.0.1:8080

ACTUAL RESULT
JBoss AS 7.1.1 crashes. Crash log is available on https://gist.github.com/dleborgne/f80cbb7f851af4f70eb5f909258fcc01

The problem also occurs with Zulu 7u181 on CentOS 7 (x86_64)

Azul customer support confirmed this to be a bug. A fix will be made available to Zulu customers, then on the website.

This problem is solved with Zulu 7.24 (7u191).
