Thomas Broyer‏ @tbroyer asked @ZuluCommunity the following question: any specific reason your Debian packages don’t provide a *.jinfo file to support update-java-alternatives?

Thanks for reporting this. The current Zulu user docs page is here: http://zulu.org/zulu-community/zuludocs/ If I had to guess, these steps were written back for the very first RPM-based Zulu installer, so may not have been revisited once we did our first .DEB package. I also see we have a similar internal bug raised against Ubuntu, so it is highly likely it is the same issue you see on Debian, since both distros use common .DEB Zulu packaging. The doc and the packaging should be in agreement on Debian and Ubuntu and the other supported distros, so I forwarded your case to the Zulu engineering team. Look here for any news. Thanks again. Matt
