This is a virtual Meetup occuring at 7PM UK time. For help with your timezone calculation, refer to this.

You can tune in to the session at

An AMA session is literally where you can ask Java experts ANYTHING you would like about the current Java 8 version or upcoming Java 9 release! That’s right, ANYTHING! 🙂 Whether or not they answer of course is another question!

To ask questions, either turn up and ping a question into the IRC chat during the session, or ask in advance (recommended) on our Java 8/9 AMA forum topic.

Our panel has been carefully picked so we have a broad representation, including an Oracle Java guru, an Azul Java master, a figurehead in the community and a legend! Ladies and gentlemen, your panel:

Speakers: Stuart Marks, Simon Ritter, Yara M H Senger and Venkat Subramaniam

Stuart Marks is a Principal Member of Technical Staff in the Java Platform Group at Oracle. He is currently working on a variety of JDK core libraries projects, including Collections, Lambda, and Streams, as well as improving test quality and performance.
